Pollyanna
by Eleanor H. Porter is a book people will want to read over and over and over again. If anyone wants to see the movie they should read the book first. Pollyanna truly is a heart-warming story.

Pinnochio
by Carlo Collodi is a very good book. It is about a puppet who wants nothing more than to become a real boy. Before he can be come a real boy he has to be very good. If he tells a lie his nose grows an inch long. If he tells another lie his nose grows another inch long etc. If he tells the truth after he has told one lie his nose grows back to it's normal size.

by Loula Grace Erdman is about a family who goes to live in Panhandle,Texas. The second book is called The Wide Horizon. I haven't read it, but it sounds like a wonderful book. The third book is The Good Land.
Johnny Tremain
by Esther Forbes takes place in Boston just before the Revolutionary War. This is a truly wonderful book. I would recommend this book for ages 7+.

Little Lord Fauntleroy
by Frances Hodgson Burnett is about a seven year old boy who goes to live with his grandfather to learn how to be a good lord like his grandfather is. I would recommend this book as a read-aloud.
