An Enjoyable To Read Series

by Johnny Gruelle. If any of have read Raggedy Ann, Raggedy Andy, etc., some of you may guess from the title what this book is about.

Raggedy Ann
Raggedy Andy
Raggedy Ann and the Camel With Wrinkled Knees
Raggedy Ann's Wishing Pebble
There are other books. I have only listed some.

Marcella is the owner of the dolls. Whenever she leaves the room, or is on vacation, the dolls have all sorts of fun. They have a taffy-pull*, rescue Fido, (Marcella's dog,) Raggedy Ann gets washed, (quite an adventure,) and have lots of other fun.

I have read most of the
books in this series quite a few times. They're some of the BEST books written in my opinion.

*taffy-pull: I've never partaken in one, but it sounds like TONS of fun!

P.S. These make ABSOLUTELY GREAT read-alouds!!!

Shadow Hawk

by Andre Norton is a great book. It's one of the best books I've ever read.

"'Lord Rahotep-?" There was a familiar slur softening that urgent call. Then a second voice, pitched low, but with the carrying snap of an officer, brushed aside the first inquiry.
'Rahotep! Brother!'
'Kheti'"

~From the Book~

This is a very exciting book. I recommend it for ages 10 and up. I LOVED this book.

I really enjoy all the stories.

Father Damien and the Bells

by Arthur and Elizabeth Sheehan. This is a Vision book, one of my favorite series of saint books. This story teaches us about the courage of a wonderful priest named Fr. Damien. This is a great read-aloud book.
